Hours: 10:00 to 18:00
(entry allowed up to 17:30)
Museum is closed on:
Mondays (except when a national holiday, substitution day falls on a Monday, in which case the museum may be closed on the following Tuesday)
During the New Year holidays (29 December - 3 January)
*Due to partial renovation, the Tobacco & Salt Museum will be closed on September 1st and 10th, 2010.
General admission fees:
Single, or in groups of 20 or more
Adults and students over high-school level: single 100yen (groups 50yen per person)
School pupils to high-school level: single 50yen (groups 20yen per person)

*During the special exhibition "Wada Makoto's Works" (from September 11th to November 7th), the admission fee is,for general and university students: 300 yen (in groups more than twenty:150 yen)
for students in high school and under:100 yen (in groups more than twenty:50 yen)

Pets and dangerous substances are not permitted within the museum.

Eating and drinking are not allowed within the exhibition rooms.

Re-admission during the same day without further payment is possible for visitors who apply at the reception desk.

All who wish to make use of wheelchairs are welcome to request assistance; the building can be toured without hindrances from stairs.
